How to administrate the server?

You can administrate your OpenTTD from while being connected to the server with the OpenTTD game client.
As an administrator you can do several things, including: kicking and banning users, removing companies, loading/saving a session or scenario and downloading online content.

To executebe the command on the server follow the steps below:

  • Launch OpenTTD normally.
  • Find your server on the multiplayer list and connect to it.
  • Open the console (~ key).
  • Type rcon <password> "<command>".
Example: rcon x8na7f "kick 5"
